Activity Information

Football is a ball based team game, ranging from 5 v 5 to 11 v 11, however, football can also recreationally be played 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 etc.  The objective of the game is to ‘score’ more goals than the opposition team by putting the ball into their net.

Football is a hugely popular sport, both to play and watch, and its simplicity as a sport and minimum amount of equipment to participate is part of its appeal. A ball and a goal, or even just a wall and you’re away.   Football is accessible for any age irrespective of ability.  Due to it being a team game one of the main benefits of football is the social opportunities available.

Football has many other disciplines including disability, blind, wheelchair and learning disability.
